Inside Brainrot Heads Coils and Tool Shop Speed

The upgrade that decides whether a steal becomes a Base unit or lawn trash.

Coils and Speed

Coils are the speed items in the Tool Shop. Inside Brainrot Heads pretends the fantasy is collecting meme units. The real gate is whether you are faster than the Guard that wakes when you touch one. Money from parked Brainrots has one correct early job: buy the next Coil. Everything else is decoration until that purchase lands.

Where to buy them

Open the Tool Shop in the lobby, not the Tokens Machine. The machine sells Brainrots for Trade Tokens. The Tool Shop sells movement for Money. Mixing those counters is how people “cannot afford speed” while sitting on 40,000 Tokens from codes. Spend Tokens on units. Spend Money on Coils.

Rebirth unlocks later Tool Shop rows. If the Coil you want is grey, you are looking at a prestige gate, not a bug. Read how to Rebirth instead of staring at the locked card.

Buy order

  1. First Coil as soon as two earners sit in the Base. The starter Head is the tutorial. The second Head is the first real chase. Be ready.
  2. Next Coil before the next luck Head. Luck multipliers are advertised on the Head unlock. Speed is not. Assume each unlock is faster than the last.
  3. Skip cosmetic tools until your escape rate on the current Head is boring. A trail effect does not shorten the lawn.

If Money is tight, delay a Tokens Machine flex and keep stealing commons. A common you carry home pays the Coil. A Secret you drop pays nothing.

How speed changes the steal

On a fair Coil the Guard is a pressure timer, not a jumpscare. You grab, you turn, you make the door. On an outdated Coil the Guard meets you at the furniture. That is not a skill issue. That is a shop issue. The steal guide will not invent a secret parkour line that replaces movement stats.

Mobile players feel this first because analog drift eats the same seconds a Coil would have bought. Play landscape. Keep the camera high enough to see the door. If your deaths are wall-clips, fix hands, then buy speed. If your deaths are mid-lawn, buy speed, then fix hands.

Coils versus Tokens Machine

A mid-tier shop Brainrot raises offline Money. A Coil raises the chance that the next steal becomes offline Money. Early accounts should bias Coil. Mid accounts can alternate: Coil, shop unit, Coil. Late accounts with Eternal income can buy shop names for fun because the Base already funds every Tool Shop row.

Use the token shop tool so Token spend stays planned while Money stays reserved for speed. Use the tier list so you do not sell a high earner to afford a Coil you could have funded with two more starter-Head runs.

Signs you are under-coiled

  • You clear the door and still die on the open field.
  • You only survive Heads you unlocked an hour ago.
  • You unlocked a luck Head “to find rares” and have not parked one since.
  • You blame scripts or hitboxes before you open the Tool Shop.

The fix is not a new rare guide tip. The fix is the next Coil, then one more hour on a Head you can finish.

After a Rebirth

Your earners may be gone. Your newest Coil should not be. If a Rebirth also locked a tool, the confirm text said so. Buy movement again before you return to the highest Head. Prestige without speed is a highlight for the Guard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What do Coils do in Inside Brainrot Heads?

They increase walk and run speed so you can outrun the Guard after a steal. Buy them in the Tool Shop with Money.

Should I buy a Coil or a Tokens Machine Brainrot first?

Park two cheap earners, then buy the first Coil. After that, alternate speed and shop units.

Why is a Coil locked?

Later rows unlock through Rebirth. Prestige, then return to the Tool Shop.

Do Coils help me find rares?

Indirectly. Luckier Heads need faster escapes. Without a Coil you will find rares and drop them.

Can scripts replace Coils?

Some farm hubs teleport. That is a ToS risk. The intended path is Money into the Tool Shop.
